About Us

Bluewater Methadone Clinic (BMC) was opened in October 2004 by Dr. Gary Barwitzki, Dr. Del Donald and Dr. Marc Austin. As emergency doctors, the three noticed a need in Lambton county for a drug therapy clinic to help people with opioid addictions. They also noticed that there were many people in Lambton county commuting to other cities (London, Kitchener, Toronto) to get treatment for their opioid addictions through methadone clinics.

Patients at BMC benefit from our multi capable facility. Immunizing patients, withdrawing blood, testing urine samples, and counciling helps to decrease patient stress in seeking out testing and immunization facilities.

BMC is Located on the southeast corner of Christina Street South and Wellington Street in downtown Sarnia (beside Sarnia Public Library) at 144 Christina Street South. You can reach us by phone at (519)337-5000 or fax (519)337-4406.
